Our time together begins outside the famous Glastonbury Abbey. From there, we will follow the old pilgrims path to the Scared Thorn tree of Joseph of Arimathea.  Your journey then proceeds on a mysterious path along Faerie lanes, through the Jesus field and on to the Orchards of Avalon. This is where we ask permission to enter the sacred enclosure. Then we head to the very top of the Tor itself. On the summit, your guide tells the tale of Saints, Kings and the Faerie folk who dwell there.

At the top of the Tor you are left to sit in silence for a moment to embrace the healing energy of this holy place. After that we come together in a healing ceremony, connecting in circle to share our thoughts, to say what you felt or to just BE!

On our way down to the White Spring, the candle lit water-chapel beneath the Tor, I leave you with entrance fees paid at the the Chalice Well Gardens World heritage site.

We gather outside the Glastonbury Abbey to embark on our transport to South Cadbury Castle, (roughly 40 mins depending on traffic) the supposed location of Arthur's Camelot. This imposing iron age hill fort looms out of the Somerset landscape. We take a steady walk to the plateau, whilst our guide spins yarns of chivalry and heroes, real and imagined.

As with all our tours we take a moment to ask permission to enter, and to ask for the spirits of this place to show us the things we need to see. Once upon the top we divulge ourselves with the story of Gawain and the Green Knight then allow our guests to wander and soak up the atmosphere of the Isle of the living, as they gaze out across the landscape back to Avalon, the once Isle of the Dead.

  • Tours being at 8:30am or 1:30pm
  • 4 hour Walking Tour
  • Appropriate walking gear is required: trail shoes as the paths are often muddy
  • Jackets and coats to accommodate changing weather and winds
We will meet at the St Dunstan's Car Park near the famous Glastonbury Abbey. You will find us by a sign being shown noting "Walking with Wizards". From here we will begin our journey in a comfortable fashion through the Somerset levels towards South Cadbury Castle, the purposed King Arthur's Camelot. Tales will be shared along the way and you being to immerse yourself in the energy and stories of our ancestors, and tap into the energy of these magical lands.

Upon reaching our destination, a hill approximate 500 feet above sea level, we hope to be embraced by a clear day allowing a panoramic view of the Somerset levels and the distant Glastonbury Tor and perhaps Brent Knol just beyond.

Join me as we embrace the magic and majesty of these humble places.

The Southwest of England is scattered with healing waters and holy springs. On this adventure we will encounter rejuvenating waterfalls, mystical dark pools to scry in and drink from the chalice of the Goddess Brigit. Each well and watering hole served its purpose and took its place in the myths of the magic of Britain.

We will start in the Caverns of Cornwall, at Merlin's cave and the wild waterfall that cascades of the cliff. This is where I start most of my retreats; the place where we ask the spirits and nymphs guardians to sup from the magic of the land's blood, asking that we be allowed to partake to the Earth's healing waters. Then to bathe in the pool of St Nectan's Keive, of the Fountain of Youth, where all negativity and unnecessary and emotional ties are washed away.

We will travel out onto Bodmin Moor, a wild and barren place, where windswept monoliths stand proud and tall, unmoved by the march of time and standing watch over the Black pools of Bodmin. At the Hurlers , a group of three standing stone circles. we will stare into depths of the dark water and ask for wisdom and guidance to be revealed.

We will take in Tarr Steps on Exmoor, a 3000-year-old stone slab bridge. Here we will paddle in the cool waters of the mystical river that flows beneath and tune into the echoes of the past.

On to the legendary waters of Avalon and the Lady of The Lake, where there are too many springs and stories to share in this brief note. For me this is where the real healing begins. Close by is the city of Wells, the name says it all, dotted with an array of healing springs.

Then finally we visit Bath and the Roman Bathhouse, where the volcanic spring of the Goddess Aqua Sulis bubbles out of the ground and you can embrace and enjoy of the spa that is still operational today.

You'll experience the waters and sense the Gods and Goddesses that watch over them. To our ancient peoples, these were the doorways to the other world, especially the moors, bogs and levels, the halfway world communication can occur with the spirits that dwelt just beyond.

This is one of my favorite pilgrimages or treasure hunts if you like. Lodging will be based in Glastonbury or Devises, from which we will venture out each day in search of crop circles in the surrounding area. Our plan will be to chase this energy, exploring new destinations each day. But as we are dependent on depending on extraterrestrial or spirit to produce these anomalies we will also be visiting Sacred stone circles during our time. These sacred sites were also built as temples to the stars, linking as above and so below.

Avebury is the epicentre of the circle phenomenon, where each day the latest sites are posted in the famous Henge Shop. Avebury is by no means just a quaint village in the Wiltshire countryside. It is the biggest stone circle in Britain engulfing the whole village and more. With West Kennet Long barrow and Silbury Hill just a stone’s throw away this is a wonderful place to start our adventures.

The famous Stonehenge is near by, where we will have an evening of private access to the ancient circle, so as to enjoy the majesty of these noble and imposing guardians that overlook Salisbury Plain.

Glastonbury, Avebury and Stonehenge form the Crop Circle Triangle, where 80 percent of the world's circles appear. Each of us has their own explanation to what forms these mysterious signs in the wheat fields of England, and I will hold mine until you have come to your own conclusions.

The best time for this retreat is during the months of June, July and August for we are completely at the mercy of the fields of gold. Let us walk them together.

We begin in Cornwall, walking in the steps of Arthur, taking a pilgrimage to the place of his mythical birth. Prepare yourself for the unseen as the doorways open to the knowledge, the magick and healing as you experience all there is for you to experience. After all, this is a personal journey...

While in Cornwall, we will rest our heads at Camelot Castle, located just a stone's throw from the magic of Merlin's Cave and Titangel Castle. We will ask the land's permission to explore them. The dramatic views of northern coastline will mesmerize you and take you back in time as you envision masted vessels out at sea and local trade in port. As we walk expect to encounter the dragon energy of Kernow, the whispering silence of the isolated ancient circles of Bodmin Moor, and visit the Hurlers Stone Circles. We will explore Boscastle and the Museum of Witchcraft where you will explore the history of the ancient craft and the magic of the surrounding town.

We will be in Cornwall close to the time Samhain (Halloween). Here is where Arthur is linked with the Winter King, who rises on this night and leads the wild hunt across shadowy land. Arthur, Odin and Gwynn Ap Nude are all linked with the festival of the Wild Hunt. A time of year where abundance and health gives way to magick and learning. This is a great time to get lost in the mysteries of the land.

There are visits to the legendary place of Arthur's burial and the sacred site of Camelot. Many argue King Arthur was a Scot, Welsh or even an Englishman. Regardless, I believe his story touched all from the Northern Wall, to the mountains of Wales and on into the Somerset Levels.

While we explore the mystical energy of this place, we will rest and rejuvenate at the Healing Waters Retreat and Sanctuary, just a short distance for the Tor. Our time here will include a guided tour of Avalon; Glastonbury Tor, Orchards of Avalon, Jesus Field, and the Holy Thorn Tree. We will experience the energy of Camelot, exploring South Cadbury Castle and Avebury Stone Circle on the way to Stonehenge where we will have a sacred ceremony. We will also walk the grounds of the Glastonbury Abbey and have ceremony in the White Spring.

Ceremony is a very big part of all my retreats. In ceremony, we connect with spirit, the land and our ancestors. As we walk, and perform ceremonies in the lands of Avalon we, will feel the magic come alive and in doing so heal our own wounds.
